MapServer is an open-source platform for publishing spatial data and interactive mapping applications to the web. It supports OGC services including WMS, WFS, WCS, and OGC API Features, with Mapfile-based configuration and MapScript bindings. It is a lightweight self-hosted complement to GeoServer and pygeoapi.
