morecantile is a Python library for constructing and using map tile grids, including OGC Two Dimensional Tile Matrix Sets. It supports Web Mercator and other projection-specific grids, with APIs for tile bounds, zoom, coordinate reference systems, and tile indices. It is used by rio-tiler and TiTiler to support custom tile matrix sets beyond standard Web Mercator.
