Xarray brings labeled, multi-dimensional arrays to Python, building on NumPy and pandas. It's the de-facto standard in the geosciences for working with netCDF, GRIB and Zarr data, and via rioxarray it handles georeferenced rasters with CRS-aware operations. Scales out to clusters with Dask.
